Henceforth, it is illegal to disseminate rumors that Nobulous oppressed Gearlocs, that these rogue actors are liberators, or that they are working within The Break to destroy threats to Daelore as a whole.

— Gearloc Council edict

With the death of Nobulous Grint, the Gearloc Council endeavors to hide any evidence of wrongdoing, and the roving band of adventurers has gone underground… literally. Centuries ago, one of Nobulous’s mad experiments went horribly wrong, resulting in a massive subterranean cavern known as The Break. A dark power resides there, and if the brave party of Gearlocs doesn’t bring peace to The Break, the corruption will spread unchecked to the rest of Daelore.

Welcome to Unbreakable, a perfect entry point into the Too Many Bones universe and a hot, hot, hot time for 1-2 players.

Assemble your party of Gearlocs (you can add additional Gearloc characters to play with 3-4 players) and set off to cleanse The Break. Nobulous may be dead, but his machinations are not... The famous Battle Mat is back, but it’s overflowing with lava-based mechanics and fiery Baddie types. You’ll need to unleash the full potential of the Gale and Figment duo to gust, phase, and warp your way through The Break. Encounters provide opportunities to gain Loot, earn Training Points, and test your newly acquired Skills. When you’ve earned enough Progress Points, you can challenge the Tyrant and see if your Gearlocs are equipped to fight this final threat.

Throughout the adventure, players will decide how best to outfit their Gearloc. Buffing stats, training new skills, advancing new professions, and lockpicking precious Trove Loot. And don’t forget to learn from past mistakes. Every miss is an opportunity to add bones to your Backup Plan, enabling powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle in the Gearlocs’ favor.

A Gearloc For Everyone

Whether you’re a solo sojourner or a party animal, there is a Gearloc primed and ready to adventure with you beyond the walls of Obendar. Gearlocs far and wide have answered the call, and you just have to decide who will claim the final blow on the next Baddie you face. Traps and zaps, boars and bots, oh my! There are enough innate talents and stylish skill trees to keep you well-occupied in the encounters ahead. If you’re unsure who’s the right fit for you, check out our sizing charts!

Bones In The Backup Plan

Gearlocs have a bone to pick with the Baddies of Daelore. No one likes a bully, and even when these pointy-eared adventurers miss in the heat of battle, they store up that potential for an energetic impact further down the road. This innovative gameplay mechanic allows players to determine how best to counter misfortune. Do you throw bones and make a small splash or wait until an opportune moment for something epic?

Behold the Battle Mat

A 4x4 arena of close-quarter, high-octane, damage-dealing, target-rich, absolute mayhem. Baddies and Tyrants descend upon this lane-based neoprene hellscape, and it's up to the fearless Gearlocs to make it out the other side with their ears (and limbs) still attached. Maneuver to dodge melee attacks. Use clever positioning to obstruct the enemy's plans. Prepare for ranged volleys. And watch out for skilled Baddies who bring the pain. Only the spatially savvy and combat clever will scrape by here.

Tyrannical Terror

You think the Baddies are a problem? Well, they are… but the Tyrants are an even Badder(?) problem! Too Many Bones wouldn’t possess a plethora of bones or be as acidicly adventurous if it weren’t for the memorable Tyrants. Commanding stacks on stacks of Baddies, these colorful characters introduce special Tyrant Encounters and they wield a devastating Tyrant Die. If you can make it to the end of an adventure, the truest test of valor will be waiting.

More To Explore In Daelore

This tale began years ago, but it’s been passed down from Gearloc to Gearloc. This is a continent brimming with possibility… and danger! The Break is only one afflicted region in a world of hurt. The Tyrants of the Ebon threaten to the north, and there are more secrets to uncover in southern Daelore. Scores of new Baddies and Encounters are waiting in the wings to assault your Gearloc senses and send you packing back to Obendar. But whenever tyranny rears its (usually ugly) head, it’s time for a Gearloc to get down to business—and that business is bashing Baddies!
